Managed by Debra and the Nursery Team focuses on Learning through play , Activities, games , and songs.
Children can have fun and participate in a variety of play Activities through which they learn to share, discover new interests and abilities
We are a Small Private Nursery and Preschool We only accept a small Number of children for our Nursery group each term so that we can provide the best possible start and support to the children in our care as well as stay within our 5:1 child adult ratio.
At our Nursery children spend time with both our classes so they are familiar with all key members of staff, Preschoolers and the environment ready for when they move up into preschool class this is always ‘based on readiness’ and not just age especially “emotionally and Socially “.
Children have fun and learn through play within open access areas inside and out. We offer spacious gardens and a designated soft play area for all physical activities so the children can learn what “our bodies can do “within challenges such as climbing , jumping logs crawling and running on a variety of surfaces. Teaching them the crucial skill of self "risk assessment" .
Nurseries can be a great solution to childcare needs and they offer much more then babysitting.
it is important to remember that in nursery your child will explore an exciting new world with multi sensory experiences, they will begin to make friends and begin their amazing learning journey from Nursery to preschool.

Preschool Class Green Class age 3-5 led by Teacher Nerina pee Mod
This Class requires Increased Listening Skills and Slightly Longer attention span from Orange Class as there will be Circle times and Learning Activities of 20-30 Minutes time span , Varied and balanced with Freeplay/ Learning through play and carousel Activities to meet each child individual stage of development .
Teacher Nerina Provides a written progress report for each child at the end of each school Year and will always be happy to speak with parents in person as and when needed .
An (optional) Mid year parents meeting will be offered.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, where learning is laid out under seven areas:
Personal, Social and Emotional Development
This area of learning is about emotional well-being, knowing who you are, where you fit in, and feeling good about yourself. It is also about developing respect for others, to communicate with others and nurturing a positive attitude to learning. Children are also encouraged to become independent.
This area of learning is to encourage children to extend their vocabulary and fluency by talking and listening, through songs, rhymes and stories. They will be encouraged to express themselves either verbally and non verbally, using body language. Children will be shown that writing has a purpose, and when ready, to make marks and symbols on paper.
Jolly Phonics will be taught through Songs, Stories, Games and Activities. Jolly Phonics is a fun way to learn letter sounds and is a great way to prepare your child for school. Many UK primary schools use Jolly Phonics to teach reading. It is a systematic, sequential, phonics program designed to teach children to read. Children learn 40+ sounds of the English language, rather than the alphabet. They are then taken through the stages of blending and segmenting words to develop reading and writing skills. This method is also a great tool for teaching English as a second language.
This area of learning is to use practical activities so that children will become familiar with sorting, sequencing, patterns and counting activities. As they develop their mathematical understanding, they will use mathematical language to describe shape, position, size, volume and number.
Knowledge and Understanding of the World
In this area of learning, children are developing the crucial knowledge, skills and understanding that helps them make sense of the world. A safe and stimulating
environment will be provided so that children may investigate and experiment with a range of natural and manufactured materials.
Physical development in the Foundation Stage is about improving skills of co-ordination, control, manipulation and movement. It helps children gain confidence in what they do and enables them to feel the positive benefits of being healthy and active.
Being creative enables children to make connections between one area of learning and another, and so extend their understanding. This area of learning includes art, music, dance, role play and imaginative play.
A progress report will be provided by our Eyfs Teacher before your child is ready for school .
